Booking & Payment Policy

Service Call Deposit

A $65 service call deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures the appointment, covers travel, and is applied toward the total cost of the job. By booking with Mr. Put Together, you agree to the following: a $65 non-refundable deposit is required, the remaining balance must be paid before assembly begins, pricing may be adjusted if the items differ from descriptions, workspaces must be clear, outdoor jobs may be rescheduled due to weather, and our scope is limited to labor-only services.

Payment at Arrival

When the technician arrives, the item will be reviewed and the final price confirmed. The remaining balance is due before assembly begins. No work will start until payment is received.

Accepted Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods include cash, Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, card, or card reader payment.

Non-Payment Policy

If a customer refuses to pay the remaining balance upon arrival, the job will not begin and the technician will leave. The $65 service call deposit remains non-refundable.

Appointment Confirmation Policy

Customers must confirm their appointment the day before service. A confirmation message will be sent, and the customer must reply to confirm. If the appointment is not confirmed, the time slot may be released.

Arrival Window Policy

Appointments are scheduled with a 1–2 hour arrival window, not an exact guaranteed arrival time. This allows for traffic, delays, and longer-than-expected assembly times on earlier jobs.

Pricing & Complexity Policy

All pricing is based on the information provided at booking, including item photos, links, or descriptions. If the item is larger, more complex, multi-box, or materially different from what was originally described, pricing may be adjusted upon arrival before work begins.

Incomplete Hardware Policy

Customers are responsible for making sure all required parts, hardware, and instructions are available before the appointment. If hardware is missing or the item cannot be assembled as delivered, assembly may not be completed. In those cases, the service call deposit still applies.

Workspace Readiness Policy

The assembly area must be clean, clear, and ready before the technician arrives. Existing furniture, clutter, fragile items, and obstacles must be moved out of the work area in advance. If the workspace is not ready, the job may be delayed, repriced, or rescheduled.

Wall Mounting & Anchoring Policy

TV mounting and furniture anchoring services apply to standard drywall and wood stud installations unless otherwise discussed in advance. Brick, concrete, metal, plaster, tile, stone, or other unusual wall materials may require different hardware, added labor, or additional charges.

Outdoor Service & Weather Policy

Outdoor jobs, including trampolines, swing sets, patio furniture, and above-ground pools, require a safe and accessible work area. Ground must be reasonably level and clear before service begins. Jobs may be delayed or rescheduled due to rain, lightning, unsafe weather, muddy conditions, or unsafe ground conditions.

Service Scope Policy

Service includes assembly and installation only unless otherwise agreed in writing before the appointment. Service does not include: furniture pickup or delivery; trash or box removal; moving heavy furniture between floors; hauling items from garages, vehicles, or storage areas; repairs for manufacturer defects; or replacement of missing hardware. Service Agreement – Mr. Put Together: - Mr. Put Together provides assembly and installation only. - We are not the manufacturer of any products. - Customers are responsible for the safe and intended use of items. - We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or failures due to misuse, overloading, defects, or alterations. - Outdoor equipment carries inherent risks due to weather exposure. - Liability ends once the technician leaves the site. - Payment is required before assembly; the service call is non-refundable once the tech arrives.

Customer Prep Policy

Before the appointment, customers must: send a photo or product link for each item; ensure all boxes are inside the home or work area; clear the assembly space; secure pets during the appointment; and confirm all parts and hardware are present. For TV mounting or anchoring jobs, customers should also confirm the wall type before arrival. Customer prep requirements: - Provide a photo or product link. - Ensure boxes are inside the work area. - Maintain a clear workspace. - Confirm all parts and hardware are present. - Secure all pets. - Confirm wall type for mounting. - Ensure outdoor ground is ready. - Note: If workspace is not ready, the appointment may be rescheduled or charged a $40 delay fee.

No-Show / Cancellation Policy

The $65 service call deposit is non-refundable once the appointment is booked and scheduled. Same-day cancellations, last-minute rescheduling, or no-shows forfeit the deposit. Refusal + Refund Policy All bookings require a $65 non-refundable payment to secure your appointment. This payment covers scheduling, travel preparation, and reserved time. Refunds are not issued for: • Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours • Incomplete or incorrect job details • Missing parts or hardware • Workspace not ready at arrival • Access limitations (stairs, tight spaces, unsafe conditions) We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or significantly different from what was submitted. In such cases, the service call is still considered fulfilled. Refunds are only issued in rare situations where the service cannot be completed due to factors entirely outside both parties’ control, like unsafe environments.

Documentation Policy

A completion photo may be taken after the job is finished for documentation purposes. This helps verify completed work and protects both the customer and the business in the event of later disputes.

Travel Policy

A $25 travel charge applies within the standard service area and is included in the $65 minimum service call. Longer-distance travel may require additional fees based on mileage. Job Completion Acknowledgment By the conclusion of the service, the customer acknowledges that the work is complete and that all items were assembled according to the provided instructions. Mr. Put Together is not liable for any misuse, overloading, accidents, or damages that occur after the technician departs from the premises.
